Anna Nicole Smith died this afternoon of an apparent drug overdose after being found in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Florida. The Internet is zooming with reports of her death. Annanicolesmith.com has already been taken down and Wikipedia has her obituary information updated:
Controversy followed the lovable trainwreck starlet:
Earlier this week, Smith was included in a class-action lawsuit against a company, TrimSpa, for which she had worked as a spokesperson. TrimSpa makes a product it claims leads to substantial weight loss. The lawsuit alleges the marketing of the product, TrimSpa X32, was false or misleading...
Then there was the mystery surrounding her son's recent death, the paternity suit regarding the father of Danielynn, Anna's daughter and her escalating dependence on prescription drugs.
TMZ already has an interview with her former lawyer, Lenard Leeds who says Anna Nicole always had a problem with alcohol:
"Anna always had problems with her weight going up and down, and there's no question she used alcohol." Leeds says it's no secret that, "she had a very troubled life" adding Anna had, "so many, many problems."
The former playmate often drew comparisons to another blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe. Leeds said, "She wanted to be like Marilyn her whole life and ironically died in a similar manner." Marilyn died at age 36 in 1962.
Love you Anna Nicole! You will be missed!
