Nicole Richie Worried She Has No Shoes To Match 'Prison Orange'

Nicole Richie is worried she will have to do time for her Dec. 11 DUI arrest.

“She was really freaking out,” an “insider” told the mag. “Paris kept telling Nicole not to worry, that everything was going to be fine.” Richie is apparently especially worried because she has a 2002 DUI under her belt.

One unkind observer quipped to The Scoop: “Maybe she’s worried that prison stripes will make her look fat.”

...Or that nothing with match the outfit. Or maybe that they don't have Crunchy Spicy Tuna. Or that her only form of shopping will be done by pusing ...D...4 for Snickers.

Nicole Richie has, for so long, tried to look like a little white girl. Blonde hair. Light-skinded. Silky weave. I almost forgot she was black. Or part black. But lo and behold, my good friend (VERY NotSafeForWork) Jesus posts a pic of her on 'da beach looking dark and lovely.

I know, I know, I'm half 'person of color'. And yes, there was a time there, when I had fun with blonde hair and blue contacts. But I'm proud of my ethnic features. Like, the ability to get into a prestigious University with a 2.-something GPA. Yeah, suckas!

Vanity Fair's latest peek into the life of a misunderstood celebrity profiles Nicole Richie. The topics covered include her recent fallout with Paris Hilton, breakup with DJ AM and her anorexia. The problem with the piece is that there is nothing new. The biggest scoop the article could report on was:

"I eat the worst foods—salty cheese-and-grease kind of stuff.…"

I wonder what aisle "salty cheese-and-grease kind of stuff" is? Anyway, at least there were some amazing photographs of Nicole...
